Back home!

It does feel good being back to Portugal, but I’ll forever miss Romania! I brought back with me a suitcase full of memories and love ❤️ 

 

Last month in Romania 🇷🇴

 September was my last month of EVS in Romania. It was super busy and emotional, I wish I could spend the rest of my days with the friends I made here!

Hot summer in Romania

 August was a very hot month, when we finally got back to our activities after the Covid-19 pandemic quarantine. It felt great to travel again and spend time with the kids!

Summer holiday in Constanța

A group of 12 volunteers went on a trip to Romanian seaside this month. We discovered the beauty and fun of the Black Sea beaches and the incredible night life of Vama Veche!

Farming in Anina

Our new Volunteering activity involves going to Anina weekly and learning how a small food business works in a lovely little farm. So far we experienced working on the soil and helping out with the preparation and packaging of the vegetables, which was pretty fun!

The end of quarantine came with a camping night on the hills!

April, a full month in quarantine... I’ve been appreciating a lot more the view and all the sunsets from my bedroom window.

Trip to Carașova

March was a lovely month! It was my 19th birthday on 3rd, which I spent in the great company of my new international friends. Later this month, right before the beginning of Covid-19 pandemic and respective quarantined, we went on a day trip to Carașova and had a very peaceful blissful time! :)

On-Arrival Training and the beauty of Romania

The new year is here! January was an amazing month, full of new places, experiences and friends. I went to Bucharest, the capital of this beautiful country where I met a lot more international volunteers and discovered some great places. Back to my town, Resita, I was happy to, once again, see snow and beautiful landscapes. Couldn’t ask for a better way to start 2020. :)
